RW Access Problem

Hi,
        We have an intermittent problem on client machine. When
we cd to the RW copy (ie /afs/.xxx.com) it will go to RO copy.
Sometimes, it goes thru RW and after that will go to RO again.

        Has anybody seen this problem before ???
