It comes and goes. There have been times when I rebooted my machine
3 times a day --- most recently because I was using the blank screen saver,
which locked up the keyboard. But since I changed the screen saver, it has
been remarkably stable.
In fact, at the moment, AFS related issues are the main source of problems
- tokens expiring, causing application timed backups to die, causing error
messages to fill buffers, etc.
