We are running AIX 4.1.5 and using the AIX CDE. Our environment is both NFS and AFS but we recently switched to AFS login authentication. Now we are experiencing problems logging into workstations. The only fix seems to be to have root log in and kill and restart the desktop. The problem does not affect all users nor is it consistent. We have a "fix" for the dtlock but the dtlogin is a much more serious problem.
