Hi,
we have the following problem: one of our AFS server machines died horribly. We
now want to hook the disks of the dead server to another AFS server.
We already attached the disks to the new server and vfsck went ok.
The problem now is to convince AFS that the dead server is really gone and that
the new server should act instead of the dead one. How to accomplish that?
The entries in VLDB still point to the dead server and we have found no way to
clear this. We did a `vos syncvldb' on the new server with the result that `vos
listvol ...' reports "Could not attach volume <id>".
Thanks in advance for any hint.
