In the System Administrator's Guide, it lists one gigabyte as a limit for client caches for AFS 3.2 on up (we are running 3.4a 5.55). We have a couple of clients with 1.5GB and 2GB caches. The 1.5 seems to work fine, but the 2GB doesn't seem to cache things as well (a small amount of cache is used even though the machine does quite a bit of file work in AFS). Is there a real limit? Has anyone run into issues with larger (> 1GB) cache sizes? -- Jim Gibson DCT/Core Services, File Systems QUALCOMM, Inc. [EMAIL PROTECTED]
