The 1996 proceedings of Decorum should have a paper from UNC
Greensborough where they describe a system where e-mail is delivered into
AFS. I have written a proposal for our site that models its design on
theirs, but we have not yet implemented it. I personally get my e-mail in
my AFS home directory and have done so for going on 6 months. I used the
mail.local program shipped with sendmail along with some program snippets I
wrote to make it AFS aware and token aware to get the mail into the home
directory. For POP, we plan to use Qpopper, which is easily modified to be
AFS and token aware.
