Hi -
Convex has been, with varying success (mostly variably small) getting
OSF source via afs. Transarc says our problems should (may?) go away
when your site upgrades to 3.2.
Have you done the upgrade, or do you plan to do so?

Nope, haven't done it, and have no immediate plans to do so
(though that could change if this turns out to be a problem).
Sounds like Transarc's shooting in the dark here, as the explanation
for why you get scrambled data when you transfer. We transfer data
all the time from AFS sites running <3.2, w/o problems.
