Has anyone had experience with using and running Interleaf out of an AFS file space??
We have set up Interleaf v.5.3.1 in AFS file space
on our servers here at GEMS, but while trying to execute Interleaf out of AFS as a
regular AFS authenticated user we get error messages
similar to this:
% /interleaf/ileaf5/bin/ileaf -version
ileaf: not available for this platform #( /interleaf/ileaf5 is a link to
/afs/gems/interleaf/ileaf5 )
# This error we get as a general user in AFS, authenticated to the
system and /interleaf/ileaf5 acl'ed for system:authuser
# However, if I authenticate ( klog ) as admin and su to root I can
get everything to come up normal:
# /interleaf/ileaf5/bin/ileaf -version
Interleaf 5.3.0 / hp700
Interleaf 5 for Hewlett-Packard 9000
.... etc...
Any ideas???
