We use a modified copy of popper 1.831 for our mail. A copy
of this can be found under /afs/umich.edu/group/itd/ftp/sysadm/mail/
(unsupported, as is, & all that.) The mods are based closely
on what CITI had (and they deserve full credit for whatever
it does right), but made to what was (at least at the time)
a newer version of popper.
At least at the time I did this, the popd that's included in mh
didn't support kpop and for some reason (perhaps because CITI
had already modified popper) it didn't seem attractive to modify
it.
If you also use zephyr and sendmail, you may want to run a modified
"comsat" to send zephyr datagrams to users when new mail is delivered to
their mailbox. I have just such a beast and could package it
up if anyone is interested.
