Excerpts from mail: 9-Feb-94 PC Interconnection using AFS [EMAIL PROTECTED] (2425) > Once you have the AFS token, we can then close the telnet session. Unfortunately, you've illuminated here the very security hole which makes NFS/AFS translaror unfavorable: under normal circumstances, you'd expect tokens to die when a session closes. Tokens not associated with a Process Authentication Group can all too easily be stolen by intruders, making multiuser distrubuted platforms, like a PC-to-AFS server, unadvisable.
