Using AIX migratepv on AFS partition

Does anyone have experience with AIX "migratepv" on an disk containing only
an AFS partition (and log lv)?  I have a drive with an increasing number of
errors and would like to move everything to a free drive, but have never used
migratepv on an AFS system.  (AIX 3.2.5, AFS 3.3)
