I have to ask why you're asking....
The system call layer passes the slash-delimited pieces to DFS, but it
re-assembles each prefix string before passing it to dfsbind. Thus, the
system call layer will successively pass in
c=uk
o=hp
ou=hp8005
fs
but DFS will build these up in successive queries to
c=uk
c=uk/o=hp
c=uk/o=hp/ou=hp8005
c=uk/o=hp/ou=hp8005/fs
for passing to dfsbind.
