Have any of you developed any tools to help you pinpoint "hot-spots"
of volume activity? For example, you may notice that one of your
fileservers seems to have many many more connections than all of the
others, but you can't find any logical single or group of volumes
that would warrant all those connections. You could always use
vos examine or volinfo to examine each of the volumes on this fileserver
and parse the results, but there may be some more sophisticated way of
getting the same information. Anyway, if you've already developed such
a tool that you can share or if you can just point me in some useful
direction, I'd greatly appreciate it.
