We've been looking at the Unipress Software port of Lan Manager for UNIX
to SunOS. It allows access to the AFS filespace, but doesn't handle AFS
authentication. I've been talking to Mark Krieger ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
about the possibility of their adding hooks to their server to support
this.
The advantage of this approach is that resource-poor PC clients don't
need to run the extra TCP/IP stack and NFS client software.
