Has anyone had experiences with AFS and FTP's PCTCP?
My configuration is as follows:
client - Compaq 466 running DOS 6.2/Windows 3.1 and PCTCP/PCNFS V2.3
Server - HP 715 running hpux 9.03 with latest nfs patches applied and
pcnfsd version 2 running. This machine is running the afs to
nfs translator. AFS/NFS translator on UNIX to UNIX works fine.
When I try to mount the servers:/afs on the PC some of the files
don't show up. There is no peculiar differences in the files that get
dropped, permissions aren't the cause either, system:anyuser has rl.
The problem exists for files and directories.
Now when the server is a sparc II running SunOS 4.1.2 and V2 of pcnfsd
it works. Files do not get dropped.
Any info would be appreciated.
