The Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center would like to assess the level
of interest in our AFS extensions (Multi-Resident AFS), which enable
transparent file migration between AFS servers and hierarchical storage
management systems.
As has been previously posted, Transarc has decided not to incorporate
these extensions into their products. We would like to see the technology,
which we have developed, get wider use and realize that many sites
are interested in the capability. At this time we are trying to
assess how many sites we can accommodate and what sort of support is
