Transarc Corporation is pleased to announce Decorum'95, the annual
gathering for technical professionals involved in the implementation of
client/server computing solutions. The meeting is designed to assist
Transarc customers and third-party partners as they incorporate client/server
products --- including AFS 3, Encina, DCE, DFS --- into their business plans.
At this time, we are soliciting presentations for Decorum'95.
Presentations may include:
Individual Talks ** Panel Discussions
Suggested Topics:
- Site profiles exploring how a particular product is deployed within a
production environment.
- Experiences with building applications that extend the services of the
DCE and Encina.
- Optimizing and reporting on performance.
- Issues in establishing and maintaining a global file system.
- The use of third-party value-added products within your environment.
- Troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques.
- Management perspective on planning and implementing a client/server
corporate strategy.
- Achieving enterprise-wide computing --- incorporating mainframe systems
to desktop PCs --- within a distributed environment.
- The process of adopting new technologies into an existing environment.
Submission Procedures:
Those wishing to participate should provide a title and short abstract
(50--75 words), along with the following information:
- Name, company affiliation, title.
- Postal and e-mail addresses.
- Phone and fax numbers.
The person submitting the panel topic assumes responsibility - as the
panel chair - for lining up speakers and coordinating presentations.

- October 3, 1994: Final date for submissions.
- October 24, 1994: Acceptance notification to submitters.
- December 13, 1994: Completed slides due in postscript or hard copy
format.
