/afs/rus.uni-stuttgart.de/pub/afsak/scripts/newCellServDB
is a shell script which may be run on the client by cron at night.

> Also, how to keep cell mounts consistent with CellServDB?

/afs/rus.uni-stuttgart.de/pub/afsak/scripts/update.root
is run by bos to fetch the newest CellServDB.export from Transarc,
create or remove mount points to other cells as appropriate, and
release the volumes afterwards. Note that we have two root volumes,
root.afs, which mounts the whole world, and root.rus, which only
mounts cells in Germany and is to be used by the cache manager on our
cluster machines in order to reduce network traffic.
Important: this script has to be run by someone with system:administrators
privileges. I have developped a program, which builds a token for the afs
principal in very much the same way as bos and vos do when invoked with
-localauth, but afterwards it stuffs the token into the kernel, so it may
be used by the cache manager. If you put afs into the system:administrators
group, this will do the trick.

Greetings, Dieter
