AFS PRICE INCREASE
Effective April 1, 1995, AFS prices for most items will increase by
approximately 10%. If you are planning additional AFS purchases in
1995, this is your opportunity to purchase under the current lower
prices. Purchase orders received by March 31, 1995 will qualify.

Transarc offers PC-Interface as a way to bring PCs into the AFS

Product Highlights
PC-Interface enables a desktop PC to function as an AFS client
machine, extending benefits of AFS to the PC. These benefits include
replication, file caching, and centralized management. Applications
on AFS appear local to the user's PC. PC-I uses standard DOS or
Windows commands and interfaces and lets PC users access both UNIX and
Novell Networks.
Support
PC-Interface is priced at the standard AFS support rate.

UPCOMING TRAINING: AFS System Administration
AFS System Administration course prepares students to plan, install,
manage and recover the distributed file system, AFS. This class
covers terms and concepts for effective AFS administration including
planning for growth and end user training needs, and troubleshooting.
System administration tasks taught include managing client machines
and volumes, account creation and the AFS backup system.
Cost: $1,600 per enrollee.
