We also have the beta for AFS.34 on some of our AIX 4.1 systems, and Yes
we experience the same problem that the password stored in AFS is indeed used to
authorize a user to login to a box. And to create a token for telnet sessions. But
somehow a user going through dtlogin at the console doesn't get a token.
I also have problems in getting the inetd.afs stuff, other than
ftpd.afs to work.
