Three weeks ago I asked under the same subject who would be interested
to participate on a meeting of the german speaking AFS friends. I got a
number of responses from german sites, but also from other european
sites who asked to change the language of the meeting from german to
english.

In a second questionnaire I asked the german speaking sites whether it
would be ok to switch to english. Not all were enthusiastic about this
idea, but nobody really denied it.

Therefor I would like to make a more precise invitation:

The german AFS friends will meet probably in Garching on December 14 and
15.

We may discuss the following topics:
        OpenAFS
        Arla
        MR-AFS
        Administration of AFS cells
        Backup
        AFS and NT
        AFS and different Linux versions
        AFS and Kerberos 5
AFS and files >= 2 GB
        AFS and web servers
        AFS and Perl

We have here, however, only a rather small meeting room for about 25
people (this is about the double of the number of sites who showed
interest up to now). Therefor I can offer only a limited number of
seats. If the interest should turn out to be much higher then we still
can ask Thomas Mueller from TU Chemnitz whether he would like to take
the meeting over.

Please, if you are interested to participate, let me know.
