I just tried the -force, and it failed, code -1.
However, someone else mentioned salvage volume or partition twice
had helped.
So I salvaged the volume again.
I then tried "vos remove".
It failed, but this time because it was no longer there...
...confirmed by vos listvol.
Just trying the move again; it is certainly getting further.
So, whether it was the -force or the salvage, or both, I'm not
sure, but thanks to you both!

Mike
