You obviously don't travel in very wide circles on the Internet.
(For everyone else, yes, my systems require that sending mailers honour
the first "MUST" in RFC 1123 section 5.2.5 -- i.e. I don't allow other
mailers to lie about their names to mine. If you must contact me
privately but you cannot get your mailer fixed to honour this
requirement, i.e. your local postmaster is completely clueless, then
you'll have to find another mailer or another communications channel.
Sorry, but there's also no compromise on this matter either. It's my
system and I'll run it as I see fit, like it or lump it.)
