Hello Everyone,
Greg -- I apologize for disagreeing so vehemently with you.
That does not mean that I agree now -- just that the
way that I disagreed was not appropriate.
Everyone else -- I apologize for adding fuel to the fire.
I actually only joined the list to find out who I needed
to contact to put an rlog fix into the tree. I kinda
got sucked into the rest of this.
Karl is right. Reading this list has sucked probably 30
good hours away that I could have spent finishing up my
rlog fix.
Karl -- is there a way to let the team that is maintaining
the cyclic.com CVS repository know of a bug fix without being
on this list? Should the fix simply be sent to bug-cvs
or info-cvs? If I am not on either of these two lists
(I am planning to unsubscribe tonight) will the development
team notify me via e-mail if there is a problem or do these
kinds of things just fall into a black hole?
Thanks and goodbye,
tom satter
(please CC my e-mail address with replies -- thanks)
