No, you only have to INTERFACE the CVS via SCC API. The CVS itself will not
have to be modified (unless a little bit to make few things more easy, but
not a requirement). The current approach it trying to interface
using/cooperating with the WinCvs. API has no support for concurent or any
other development, it just interfaces the things, calls the commands and
indicates the status etc. It is a wrapper.
It is a pity that SourceGear is giving away CVS - they could actually do
something in that matter since they are quite familiar with SCC API problems
thanks to the other products they have... :(
