I vas wondering.
What is it that CVS records?
is it the time/date of checkin, or is it the file's date/time at the point of checkin.
In normal circumstances this would'nt differ a lot.
But i'm in the process of checking in an existing project. Just to get the history in
with it, i thourght i would start by checking in the backup from some time ago. So i
did a little testing yesterday. but it was rather confusing, as i seamed as if CVS
stored the checkin time, rather than what i preferred, the files date/time.
So if you have noted what CVS does, please let me know.
