Is it possible to rename a branch tag? We have been developing new
features on a brach, called rel-2_4, while just performing bug fixes
on the head. I am in the process of merging this branch to the head.
I have created another branch from the current head called rel-2_3 so
that we can continue to fix bugs in version 2.3 of the product if we
need to.
However, when we start doing 2.5 development, if I create a new 2.4
branch called rel-2_4, it will leave the old 2.4 branch inaccessible.
I would like to rename the rel-2_4 branch to rel-2_4-orig (or
something like that).
