Yes it is technically possible, we are currently establishing the same via 
a WAN, rather than internet.  I'd suggest that it is your network that 
needs to be tidied up.  I don't know what access mechanism you are using, 
but whatever it is, you need to make sure that it is open at your fire 
walls.
