I am running cvs 1.10.6 on a Redhat 6.1 system. I installed from the
latest RPM that came with Redhat 6.2 and (supposedly) contains Kerberos
support. I have Kerberos5 version 1.1.1-9 installed on the same machine and
have it set up as a Kerberos KDC. From my workstation (running the same
versions of Redhat, CVS, and Kerberos) I can do a 'kinit' to get a kerberos
ticket, and when I run "cvs checkout testproject", the kerberos server
grants me a ticket for cvs/my.server.net just fine, but then I get the following
error followed by a core dump:

workstation:asmith:[1:05pm]:~/CVS> cvs checkout testproject
cvs: client.c:4140: connect_to_gserver: Assertion `need <= sizeof buf' failed.
Abort (core dumped)
workstation:asmith:[1:05pm]:~/CVS>

        My CVSROOT environment variable is set with the :gserver:
prefix. Anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this? If
I switch my prefix to :pserver: and log in with plain text passwords,
CVS works fine.....
