I'm trying to use anoncvs here, and am getting "Connection refused"
so fast I think it must be the firewall. My sysadmin has assured me
that port 2401 is open for outgoing connections. So, I've got a few
questions.
Is opening 2401 for outgoing good enough to get source by anoncvs?
(It's possible that he made a mistake, or there's some more
configuration
that needs to be done.)
Are there any additional security concerns with allowing incoming
connections aside from those common to all ports?
