Hallo everybody,

after several trials and errors I installed finally cvs
with a CVSROOT=:local:T:\cvs-source on NT. Behind the drive T there
is a linux Samba server. Everything works well, except .....
If a user different from me (who has checked in files in a module and
made changes to a file ReportScreen.html and committed it in this module)
checks the module out, he/she is not able to commit the changed module
again.
Instead of this the message

Checking in ReportScreen.ReportScreen.html;
T:\cvs-source/projekte/hp/tts/src/pp/hp/lts/reports/ReportScreen.ReportScree
n.html,v  <--  ReportScreen.ReportScreen.html
new revision: 1.3; previous revision: 1.2
cvs [commit aborted] could not open lock file 'T:\cvs-source/projekte/ ...
/,ReportScreen.html,':File exists

appears. Does anybody has a explanation for this error? What is the created
,<Filename>, file ? Thank you in advance.

Didi
