Hi all,
I have downloaded the WinCvs 1.1b12 beta version.This is the first time
I am using WinCvs. I have some questions in this regard.
1. How do we establish a connection on NT environment.
2. Configuration of cvs on NT Server
3. Configuration of cvs on NT Client
4. Can we do the 'checkout' from clients machine ?
Right now I am not able to configure my NT clients, so as to connect to
the NT server.
5. Is this NTserver configuration appropriate ?
CVS Root -- :local:NTServer:\cvsrootpath
6. And how do I set the pserver option on NT Server. Is this available
with this beta release ? Do we need to install anything else to get
this pserver mode ?
Right now I am able to connect and do the checkout of files on to
clients machine from the server. But the checkout from clients machine
is not possible.
7. The error I am getting right now is ' unable to connect to the
server. named pipe error 2' -- what does this mean ?
My NT client machines are configured as :ntserver:servername:\cvsroot
path. on the ntserver mode. is this correct ?
Any anybody Help on this ?
