Dear all,
I have a number of Windows users that access a CVS repository through
WinCvs. The repository is available to them as a Samba share (that's
Windoze for NFS mountable, well close enough ;-).
Thing is that all their commits are logged with their Windows logon
names which are rather cryptic (employee ID numbers). As all these
users also have a Unix account (with descriptive user names) on the
machine running the CVS repository, I'd like to change that.
How would I go about that?
Right now, the *,v files show Windows logon in the author field.
I've set the reply-to to me as I don't subscribe to the list (my mail
box gets full enough already ;-).
