I do not use Microsoft Windows, but I know that there is a
new version 1.1 of WinCVS, though it's BETA. It would be
interesting to know whether the problem is fixed there or
not.

I am not aware of any set of rules concerning what belongs
to this list and what not. But please accept that WinCVS is
one GUI for CVS. There is a Maintainer for CVS, who normally
reads and posts to this list regularly, so I am quite sure,
that he will be interested in your comments and bug reports.
I know that there is at least a bug database.

It was simply not clear to me, that you have problems with
the GUI, since I tried to follow your description at the
commandline and got no errors or problems.
