I have a patch that I've been sitting on that allows wildcards in
CVSROOT/passwd. That would allow you to just do:
*:ULtgRLXo7NRxs:cvsuser
which would let absolutely anyone use CVS provided they know the
password. It would also let you do things like:
*:*:cvsuser
to let only authorized system users use CVS using their system
passwords.
I've been sitting on it because there didn't seem to be much demand for
it and I've been having a hard time figuring out how to add it to the
ducumentation; if people want it, now would be a good time to speak up.
