Apologies for the "newbie" question but try as I might I can't
piece it altogether.
How do I get through the company firewall to connect to repositories
on the internet? I need to be able to import, checkin & checkout
files.
It seems that the later versions of CVS have been "socksified" which
should allow access through our socks server. If this is true, then
how is CVS configured to connect to the socks server ( env vars,
config files etc ?) instead of a direct connection.
Finally, if connection through the firewall is possible, could jCVS
client be used ?
