I think he wants per-session login instead of the normal bahaviour. e.g.,

- log in to linux host
- log in to cvs
- log out of linux host

By default, the user would now sill be logged in to CVS and could log back in
to the linux host and go without having to redo their CVS login. I think
what he wants is to have a host logout automatically do a cvs logout also.

I suppose you could do this by telling all users to put "cvs logout" in their
.bash_logout (or equivalent), but that's easily bypassed.
