I understand perfectly, and I apologize if it sounds like I didn't. I'm well aware of the Unix origins of this and all GNU software. You have the know-how and not the resources, I have the resources and not the know-how. We just need to find someone with both. :)

For the record, CVS was originally developed on Unix. It was eventually ported to Windows and the code incorporated into the standard distribution.
