Easily done, just follow the manual on "Informing others about commits":

This paragraph refers to the "-i" option of the "modules files". But in
section "C.1 The modules file"
http://ximbiot.com/cvs/manual/cvs-1.11.22/cvs_18.html#SEC159
I can not find any information about the option "-i". I think this
option should be mentioned in "C.1.5 Module options".

Confirmed...
The only place I ran across documentation is IN the modules file from one of
my repositories.
# Three different line formats are valid:
# key -a aliases...
# key [options] directory
# key [options] directory files...
#
# Where "options" are composed of:
# -i prog Run "prog" on "cvs commit" from top-level of module.
....
May I please suggest that you either make a patch to the documentation and
send that to [email protected]
or make a fuller report of this bug on either
http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?group=cvs
or [email protected]
so it does not get lost.
Thanks.
