In Thunderbird/icedove there are filters for incomming mails to filter
them into separate folders.

To set up folders is quite quick.

What does Gnus offer?

I checked the manual and found:
splitting mail
but to set it up is quite complicated.

 (setq nnmail-split-methods
       '(("mail.junk" "^From:.*Lars Ingebrigtsen")
         ("mail.crazy" "^Subject:.*die\\|^Organization:.*flabby")
         ("mail.other" "")))

e.g.
I want that all incomming mails from gnus will go automatically to a
folder/group
in gnus which is for the gnus-mailinglist.

If the „to“ „from“ „Bcc“ „Cc“ „Fcc“ „reply-to“ : is from or for gnus
then the incomming or outgoing mail should go into the gnus group.

thanks

Gottfried
