Friends,
Although you may see my name as the person who is sending a message to
the members of the list, usually all I am doing is relaying somebody
else's messages. That is why their name and e-mail address is included
at the top of the body of the text of the message.
This is so because SPIE wants this to be a moderated list and the
current configuration is one that saves SPIE the headaches of having to
deal with returned mail, error messages, etc. .... those are all sent to
me!
Anyway, it is not a big deal but I just wanted you to know this much and
that the actual author of most messages (this one excluded!) is not me
but the person whose name and e-mail address are at the top of any given
message.
