Regarding your interest in shutter speed capabilities in the region of 4
MHz, I would like to let you know that Stanford Computer Optics, Inc.,
manufactures a line of intensified CCD cameras which are capable of very
high shutter speeds. We now have developed a camera which can gate as fast
as 200 picoseconds, for example. Our normal cameras have shutter speeds of
1 ns, 50 ns or 100 ns maximum depending on model, etc., depending upon
intensified used. These cameras can also do multiple exposures on a single
frame at the rate of 3 MHz in burst mode giving about 20 exposures at this
rate or at a 300 KHz rate continuously,
