Dear INFO-HS list member: You are invited to participate in SPIE's new online discussion forum on High Speed Photography, Videography, and Photonics. The forum is open to anyone, and provides a communication channel for high-speed research, development, engineering, and applications. SPIE Technical Forums provide the optical community with a knowledge resource by providing points of contact and expert opinions. Discussion topics, news items, or questions are welcome. The High Speed Technical Forum is moderated Andy Davidhazy, who has been the moderator of the INFO-HS discussion list for several years. Note that the mailing list will be "retired" as we move the discussions to the more full-featured web forum environment. We hope you will participate. To post a message, you'll need to log in -- creating a user account takes only a few seconds. There are options that allow you to be notified by e-mail of activity in the forum (see "subscribe to this forum"). The High Speed forum is actually the second technical forum to go online. In the next few weeks we will be launching similar forums for all SPIE Technical Groups. We encourage you and your colleagues to explore the forums as an easy way to communicate with others with similar interests. We think you'll find our forums well-designed and easy to use, with many helpful features such as automated email notifications, easy-to-follow "threads," and searchability.
