I've got or am in the process of putting star office on everything (Wintel anyway) here at Lake Park, although I really don't see much of a difference between OpenOffice and Star Office unless you need the database program - and then its only for 3 users and maxes out at 100 MB. OpenOffice will also work on computers at home if they want to work on projects at home and bring them to school.
The price is right - $50 for a site license for schools.
