Here are brief course descriptions:

* Introduction to Final Cut Pro

You've probably already heard about Apple's non-linear digital video editing
solution, Final Cut Pro, which has taken the broadcast television and film
industry by storm.  This hands-on training event will provide an initial
orientation to this powerful tool.  Learn how to capture and output video
and audio, navigate around the user interface, assemble clips into the
timeline, create video titling and produce special effects.

* Advanced Video Postproduction with Final Cut Pro

This full day hands-on class will offer you a comprehensive evaluation of
this popular program, from capturing, editing, compositing and output to
tape, DVD video or streaming on the web.

Final Cut Pro is a state-of-the-art-tool for video producers. It combines
non-linear video editing with a full complement of capabilities including
motion graphics, compositing and animation to allow maximum flexibility in
digital storytelling. Content can be batch captured from the new generation
of DV format devices as well as Motion JPEG compression cards and
traditional analog formats. Streamlined workflow optimizes time spent for
project completion.

This class will focus in more depth on motion graphic compositing and
animation, video and audio filter support, chroma keying, multi-track
production, color-correction and third-party plugins.
