I hope to have a formal agenda out the first of next week, but I wanted to
give everyone a heads-up on our next meeting. All technical staff are
invited to attend from NWIA.

The meeting will be Thursday March 20th, from 9am-3:30pm at the Arrowhead
Offices in Storm Lake.

I have confirmed that Thomas S. V. Bartlett III, Technology Specialist II,
from Microsoft will be our featured presenter. Thomas will present most of
the meeting on Managing XP Pro workstations, Migrating from Windows 9x,
Security and Policies. I am hoping to also have the BV Technology people
discuss how they manage the Windows workstation on their wireless network.

I will also update you on the progress of the Ethernet conversions, E2T2
technical issues, and Internet policies for the 03-04 School year.

I am also looking for districts that would like to host the April and May
meetings. Please let me know if you are interested. I will send a formal
agenda with directions to the site as soon as I can.

Thanks

I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says
something about human nature that the only form of life we have
created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own
image. - Stephen Hawking
