"See, you share the bias against librarians! We are not a bunch of retiring file
clerks who specialize in busy work. We are highly educated professionals who
operate and manage large, high-tech institutions that serve a wide diversity of
people in a wide diversity of very important ways. We do this with minimal
resources and minimal respect. We are creative, resourceful and very
productive." ~Will Manley. American Libraries, volume 38:6 (June-July, 2007).

Subject: [info-tech] Microsoft Lawsuit

A few months ago I asked the question at a tech meeting about anyone seeing the
Microsoft lawsuit money, I'll pose it here.

Hasn't anyone seen/heard of a school receiving payment from the lawsuit? There
were rumors of individuals receiving such, but no schools.
