The customer has 220 Cyrus master instances. He wants to replicate to 220 Cyrus replicates located on another DC. Each replicate instance requires a floating IP (Openstack FIP) to be reachable by the Cyrus masters.
Since the Openstack infrastructure has a limited number of FIP, he suggests granting 1 FIP to the Nginx Proxy in front of the replicates. The Nginx Proxy will then route the sync_client access to the right Cyrus replicate using LAN IPs.
