I would agree with Kenneth and use a distinct TCP port per instance.
But this doesn't have to be done on the Cyrus server instances. Rather
you can use NAT on the edge device (router, firewall, whatever) to fan
out the various ports to the various VMs. Your VM platform may even be
able to handle that for you.
