When I installed my cyrus imap (3.0.17) server I use sync_client to make two slaves Master -- sync_client --> slave 1 -- sync_client --> slave 2 but since the beginning I very got a lot of problem with this sync. Sometime it will be working fine during 1 month , then it will crash every 8 - 10 hours. Currently since 20 days my sync_client crash regularly, I've no idea why. Beside this problem, what are the actual advantage between sync_client and some classique zfs snapshot MAILBOX zfs send SNAPSHOT --> other server ? Knowning my slave are unable to perform as master (because they don't have ssd for the db).
